Who we are
This website, www.raunf.com, is operated by RAUNF, based at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AB, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You can contact us about this policy or your personal data through our contact form.
What personal data we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through the forms on this website:
- Contact form: name, company, email address, phone number (optional), subject, message and the type of enquiry you select.
- Request Access form: name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation, organisation type, role, the opportunities or asset classes you are interested in, a description of your organisation’s relevant activity, and the opportunity you are asking about (if any).
- Submit a Project form: name, company, role, email address, phone number (optional), asset type, country, city, transaction type, indicative transaction value, ownership status, current project status, a short description, and any documents you choose to upload (teaser, presentation, ownership documents, financial information, project plans). Documents may contain personal data about you or others; please share only what you are entitled to share.
- Your consents: a record that you ticked the consent boxes shown on the form.
We also process limited technical data. Our hosting provider’s servers keep standard technical logs (for example IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) for security and operation. To limit abuse of the forms we briefly keep a one-way (hashed) form of your IP address, for up to one hour, to count submissions. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools.
How and why we use it
We use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry (our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, and taking steps at your request);
- review a request for access to an opportunity, including deciding whether to qualify you and approve access, and to manage any non-disclosure agreement (our legitimate interest in running a controlled process, and taking steps at your request);
- review a project you submit and, where relevant, discuss it with you (our legitimate interest and, for the confidential review you agree to on the form, your consent);
- keep the website and our systems secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest);
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect earlier processing. We do not currently send marketing communications, and we do not sell personal data. Access decisions are made by people; we do not use automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share it with
Submissions are visible to authorised RAUNF personnel. We use service providers who process data on our behalf: the provider that hosts the website and its servers (Interneto vizija, iv.lt / serveriai.lt) and our email provider, which receives the notification of each submission. We may share information with our professional advisers. We share information about you or your project with another party (for example a prospective counterparty) only where this is needed to progress your request and, where appropriate, with your agreement or under an NDA. We may disclose information where required by law.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we ensure that an appropriate safeguard applies, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another mechanism permitted by law.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions for as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting relationship, and for as long as we need to meet legal obligations or defend legal claims. We then delete or anonymise them. Submissions that do not lead to a relationship are reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer needed.
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS. Submissions are stored in access-controlled private records, uploaded documents are held in a private location that is not served publicly, and detailed information about restricted opportunities is withheld by the server until access is approved. No system is completely secure, so please do not send information you are not entitled to share.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, in each case in the circumstances the law provides. To exercise a right, contact us as set out above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), although we would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Children
This website is intended for business and professional users and is not directed at children.
